With postproduction spanning the globe, there
were some challenges. "We tested three film
stocks at the start. Each had its own
limitations, but we needed to understand the
characteristics to be sure that our work would
come across on the big screen.

Once we were in
post, we sent graded shots back to ARRI for test
prints and compared the film with the same
images on our displays. We made sure that we had
precisely determined the colors beforehand, to
minimize the number of answer prints and
corrections afterwards."
